darkness

rainstorm woke me up.
worried me.
i got dressed
and found the keys.
watching the
trees flail
i tried to decide whether
or not to go into the basement
in my half awake state
i unplugged everything
and started cleaning
in the dark
the sun wasnt up yet.
it was when i was finished.

i cleaned up the darkness.
